What is Affordable Rent?

Affordable Rent is a specific type of housing in the UK designed to provide homes at a lower cost than typical private market rents. These homes are usually set at a rent of up to 80% of the local market rate, making them more accessible for those who might struggle with open market prices.

We look to make homes available for qualifying tenants, generally people on local authority housing waiting lists, including those on low incomes, in housing need, or with local connections, as well as many key workers.
